This is a Community Builder demonstration site that provides a live demonstration of what the CB Paid Subscriptions (CBSubs) system is capable of doing for your Community Builder powered website.

The following extensions and script elements have been installed on this website:

• Joomla 1.5.15 (no legacy plugin enabled)
• Community Builder 1.2.1 (component, login module, online module, moderation module). Read more about Community Builder on Joomlapolis.
• CBSubs 1.0.3 with the many (but not all) of the available integration plugins in action (CB fields, DOCman, SQL query, Email, Plan images, Content protection). Read more about CBSubs on Joomlapolis and visit the CBSubs dedicated forum area.
• The Coolness template (Joomla 1.5 template and CB 1.2.1 profile template). Read more about the Coolness template on Joomlapols and visit the Coolness forum area.
• DOCman 1.5.1 download extension used to protect packages that should only be available to specific CBSubs plan subscribers.
• UddeIM 1.9 private messaging component (CB has built-in integration for this in its plugin and login module).
• Kunena 1.5.8 forum extension (integrates nicely with CB 1.2.1 and its built-in forum plugin) and CBSubs URL protection feature is used to protect specific forum categories for specific CBSubs plan subscriptions.
• AcyMailing Starter 1.1.1 newsletter extension (also has a CB integration plugin)

All the above are standard products publicly available. Some are commercial and some are free. This site uses these extensions and no modifications or hacks. There are many more cool CBSubs integrations that have not been used on this website and could be used to make your money making scenarion a reality.

Some of the CB / CBSubs capabilities demonstrated on this website are:

• The CBSubs module displayed on the website homepage gives nice marketing information to encourage guests to register and free members to upgrade. This module is included in the CBSubs distribution package.
• Module protection based on CBSubs plan subscription. On this website, Free Weekly Plan subscribers can see the 'Weekly Plan Menu' module (right column) and the 'CB Online' module (left column). Paid Daily Plan subscribers can see the same modules protected for the Free Weekly Plan subscribers plus the 'CB Workflows' module and the 'Daily Plan Menu' module.
• Free Weekly Plan subscribers are automatically transfered to the Weekly Plan Section articles menu link everytime they login to the website, while Paid Daily Plan subscribers are diverted to the Daily Plan Section articles menu link when they login.
• Section content protection based on CBSubs plan subscription. On this website, Free Weekly Plan subscribers can see all parts (after read more teaser) of all articles posted in the 'Weekly Plan Content' Section. Paid Daily Plan subscribers can access all parts protected
• CBSubs plan subscribers get cool plan images in their user profiles (that also appear in CB User Lists). This functionality is supported by the CBSubs Plan Images Integration plugin.
• CBSubs plan subscribers are granted access to protected Kunena category forum areas. Even though Kunena forum does not have this feature yet, the CBSubs URL parts protection functionality can be used to provide this cool functionality. Free Weekly Plan subscribers can read posts and post/reply to threads in the Kunena Free Weekly Plan forum category. Paid Daily Plan subscribers are granted same privileges as Free Weekly Plan subscribers and are also granted read/write privileges in the Paid Daily Plan Kunena forum category.
• CBsubs plan subscribers are automatically added/removed to/from DOCman groups in order to have/lose access to protected download packages. This is supported by the CBSubs DOCman Integration plugin that integrated nicely with the DOCman component.
• The CB field 'Membership Status' which is a readonly milti-select checkbox field (hidden in a CB Tab that is accessible only for viewers in the Publisher Joomla group) is automatically updated with proper value based on subscription actions. This CB field is then used in CB User list filter to produce the user list of Free Plan members and the user list of Paid Plan members.
• Paid Plan subscribers get 2 new fields in their user profiles. An Ajax text field (status field) and a CV file field. These two field types are available as CB fieldtype plugins and can be downloaded by any CB Documentation subscriber from Joomlapolis. These fields are only available to Paid Plan subscribers beacause they are protected by the CBSubs CB Protect Tab/Field integration plugin (part of CBSubs distribution package).
